Sardinian white wine vermentino - INSULA SARDINIA

Branu is a white wine with Denomination of Controlled and Guaranteed Origin obtained from Vermentino grapes. Spring, which with its breeze brings the scent of the sea and the Mediterranean vegetation into the vineyard. It is a wine with a brilliant straw yellow colour, with greenish reflections. Intense bouquet, with fruity and mineral notes that evolve towards floral. The taste is long and persistent, sapid and intense. Ideal as an excellent aperitif in combination with seafood, first and second courses of fish.

CrisCiu' is a structured, full-bodied organic wine with hints of Mediterranean scrub. Straw yellow coloured with greenish reflections, it has a persistent and pleasant taste. Its feature? The ample, mineral taste with saline nuances.

The sun in Gallura lights up your glass and its grapes make any occasion even more enjoyable. Elibaria is a Vermentino whose distinctive mineral character reflects its land of origin. The freshness of the Vermentino grapes overwhelms the senses, it injects life into any aperitif with its flowery Mediterranean bouquet, and enhances any fish dish.

Giaru is a fresh and persistent wine with a straw-yellow colour, with slightly golden reflections, an ample bouquet with delicately fruity and mineral hints. The grapes are grown in the vineyards located in Mejlogu, an historical-geographical region of Sardinia on soil composed by siliceous and granitic sand resting on a thick layer of clay at 400 meters above sea level, with a planting density of 5,500 vines per hectare. Ideal as an aperitif, at table it matches with seafood dishes.

I Monili bianco is a Vermentino of Sardinia DOC wine, obtained only from Vermentino grapes grown on granite soil cultivated with espalier. The harvest usually takes place starting from the first ten days of October, each hectare yields on average 90 quintals of grapes per 63 hectolitres of wine. The grapes brought to the cellar are immediately pressed, destemmed and crushed, followed by the must which is sent to clean fermentation, followed by various racking until the period of aging in stainless steel tanks for at least 3 months. I Monili is a pale straw yellow Vermentino, with a floral bouquet and a remarkable persistence. On the palate it is soft, fresh and mineral. Excellent paired with seafood appetizers, raw and seafood dishes.

Created to promote the famous Vernaccia variety, over the years it has become one of the company’s iconic wines. The bouquet is delicate like a young woman and lingers like the memory of a meeting. It is the colour of the sun that shines brilliantly on a hot summer’s day. Karmis loves seafood but also has a soft spot for white meat with light sauces.
