Just in Oristano we find this sample of Silvio Carta, a DOC Vernaccia with a very particular vinification: after the fermentation there is a passage in uncoloured chestnut barrels, to favour the oxygenation and the formation of the 'flor', a layer of yeasts that protects the wine exalting its refinement. An intense and shiny amber colour on the nose welcomes us with notes of resin and pine, wet earth and mushrooms, undergrowth and iodine, in a kaleidoscope of sensations that inebriates the nose. In the mouth it reflects everything with complexity and sweetness, it has a complete taste reminiscent of coffee and tobacco and surprises in the flavor that gives a finish that never ends. To be combined with desserts and cheeses.
