On the day of 18 October 2022at the Restaurant OhJulia in Munich. The territorial marketing program
Insula - Sardinia Quality World, was presented, a program, promoted by the Department of Tourism of the
Region of Sardinia and C.I.P.N.E.S. implementing body of the program, in the context of the international market and in the specific case of Germany.
An important partnership has been signed with the OhJulia catering chain that will tell stories throughout the year
Sardinia through the section "The paths of food and wine tourism".
For the launch phase of the program scheduled ninety days in-store promotion,
with the inclusion of a Sardinian supply chain menu, selection and promotion of wines,
liqueurs and spirits from our island guided tasting activities and workshops with holiday sector operators
and the retail channel.
During the evening, guests were able to taste a selection of dishes from our land
with the "Sapori di Sardegna" menu created by the starred chef Salvatore Camedda (Somu restaurant).

"We aim to strengthen the promotion of the 'Destination Sardinia' and our production chains in Germany,
which, in terms of tourist flows, represents the most important international market for the island, a promotional campaign carried out in some European cities of
strategic importance for directly intercepting foreign flows, increasing knowledge and satisfaction with regard to them
of Sardinian production excellence and consequently the desire to identify Sardinia as a destination for their holidays.
Appointments that allow us to meet, in addition to the specialized press, operators in the holiday sector
(travel agencies and tour operators), presenting the Sardinian experiential tourism proposal, with an immersion in our product
food and wine and promoting the uniqueness of the island, where longevity, quality of life and biodiversity are values to be made known all over the world ".
"We tell about Sardinia and we try to help our companies to export the excellences that speak of the island.
We are also doing this by combining identity, food and wine culture and traditions, thanks to the presence of a delegation from the 'Maria Carta Foundation'.
Our identity heritage is a mine at the disposal of our tourist product. Armed with a deep sense of pride for
our roots, we must commit ourselves so that popular traditions, still deeply rooted in our island, are examples of
uniqueness that Sardinia can exploit to strengthen the tourist offer ". This was the exciting speech by the Regional Tourism Councilor Gianni Chessa,
who wanted to enhance the importance of this international partnership.
