Noble and ancient Sardinian grappa, distilled with artisanal discontinuous steam method. Authentic as its ancient tradition. Today the Lucrezio R. distillery, in the strictest respect of the Sardinian tradition, produces the original Filuferru, with marc of Vermentino di Gallura, Cannonau di Sardegna, distilled in discontinuous steam bain-marie still. The precious distillate rests 18 months in small French and American oak barrels.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

Classification: Grappa reserve

Raw material: marc of Vermentino di Gallura, Cannonau di Sardegna and other native Sardinian grapes, distilled separately.

Distillation method: discontinuous alembic still in a steam bath.

Ageing: 18 months in French and American oak barriques.

Alcohol content: 40% vol.

Olfactiva-gustative characteristics: rich, harmonious and refined taste with delicate notes of vanilla, liquorice, hazelnut, dried fig and honey.

Serving temperature: 16° C.

Bottle capacity: cl. 70 and cl. 35.

Selenu is a Vermentino di Gallura Superiore DOCG obtained from pure Vermentino grapes. The grapes are picked at first light in the morning, still wet from the dew of the night. This gives it a pleasant freshness on the palate and an intense, floral bouquet. Excellent with fish dishes, white meats and fresh soft cheeses.
